Over the past number of years, Tobar Mhuire has hosted a day of prayer of solidarity for a particular cause on Ash Wednesday.
Given the times we are now living in, this year we are asking for your prayers and support for all those working at the front line against Covid-19. We would ask that you keep these brave people in mind during the day and at some stage, to take time aside and offer a prayer of thanksgiving for the wonderful work they perform on our behalf, and a prayer asking that they might receive the strength they need in the fight against this awful virus.
Let us also remember those still fighting for their lives, and the families and friends of all who have lost their lives to Covid-19.
